    • Yield: High 85%+, this article overall has a lot of high quality cutting area. There can be veins, but usually they are hidden by the finish. There can be some creases which is difficult to avoid in stiffer leathers like box calf but they are small and minimal. Overall this leather has a very high cutting yield

      Established in 1946, Tanneries Du Puy is renowned for the traditional expertise in high end calfskin production. Tanneries Du Puy is owned by the Hermes HCP Group and continues to serve the top luxury brands for leather goods and shoes.
      Marocalf is a high end calfskin article used on many small leathergoods, wallets, clutches and more. It has a very subtle grain that looks smooth from afar but when you look at it just right this wave like grain appears, giving the leather a unique dimension. 
      The leather is calf that is sourced from the high alpine regions of Europe that are known for their high quality hides due to no mosquitos, bug bites and cattle brands. This ensures the hides can meet the highest requirements of the top brands. Marocalf and has a special finish designed for durability in leathergoods. It has a nice firmer feel to it and is popular for its its extreme scratch resistance, durability, weather resistance. This combination has made it a classic for products that receive everyday wear and tear.

      • 1 2 Hide (Side):  ~10-11 square feet: $14.99 sqft

      • • We charge a placeholder price for the hide and then measure the exact size and refund any difference
        • Full Hides range from 18-24 square feet and 1 2 Hides range from 9-12 square feet. You could get a hide in those ranges and we will refund you accordingly
