The Rocky Mountain pricking irons were designed by us to have a bit wider base for improved grip and control when aligning and punching. We also added a polished side of the irons to make them comfortable in the hand. The teeth are all hand polished to allow them to pierce the leather really easily and slide out without and issues. They also have a carefully tested design to not cut through the leather too sharply but rather create a nice rounded opening. This helps ensure as you stitch the thread doesn t pull out leather fibers.
