These Palosanto awls are well made and come in 4 beautiful wood options. The shape of the handle is very comfortable in the hand.  The haft has a flat area to help give you more control and consistent orientation for your stitching holes. 

The magic of this awl is the flat awl blade that is sharp on the end. It opens leather as would a knife blade. Perfect companion for almost all pricking iron sizes as it has options from 1.2mm – 2.2mm. This awl is easy to strop up to keep sharp and is a great companion to your pricking irons.
